Get Involved...

At The Cornwall Bicycle Project, we are passionate about promoting a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle through cycling. We offer a variety of cycling programs, including educational classes, group / individual rides and community events. Our programs are designed to be fun and inclusive, so everyone can learn and enjoy cycling at their own pace. We are proud to be funded and supported by local and national businesses and organizations who share our vision for a cycle friendly, healthy and sustainable future.

Be part of something
Special

Imagine the smile on someone's face as they ride a bike independently for the very first time. The laughter of families cycling together. The excitement of a child discovering confidence they never knew they had. The feeling of freedom as someone rediscovers an activity they thought was no longer possible.

This is what happens every day at The Cornwall Bicycle Project – and you can help make it happen.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, freedom and independence that cycling brings, regardless of age, ability or background. Together, we're creating a Cornwall where cycling is truly for everyone.

Become a Volunteer

Our volunteers are at the very heart of everything we do.

You don't need to be a cycling expert – just someone who enjoys helping others, offering encouragement and being part of a welcoming community. Whether you're assisting riders onto the right cycle, cheering someone on as they achieve a personal milestone, chatting with families over a cup of tea, helping at events, or lending a hand behind the scenes, every volunteer makes a difference.

The rewards are extraordinary:

  •  See lives changed through the power of cycling

  •  Help people achieve things they never thought possible

  •  Become part of a fun, supportive team (with plenty of cake and conversation!)

  •  Learn new skills and gain valuable experience

  •  Make lasting friendships and connections within your community

  •  Be part of exciting events and inclusive cycling adventures across Cornwall

Whether you can spare a few hours now and again or volunteer regularly, we'd love to welcome you to our team.

We're always looking for enthusiastic people to join our team, including:

  • Ride Leaders

  •  Cycling Coaches

  •  Mechanics and Learn to Fix Volunteers

  •  Admin and Office Support

  •  Race Marshals

  •  Event Assistants

  •  Photographers and Content Creators

  •  Friendly Faces to welcome riders and families

  •  General Volunteers for sessions and community events

Come and join the fun

We are so excited to have had our most successful year at The Cornwall Bicycle Project doing what we love most! We have met so many amazing people and had so much fun, it shouldn't really be called work. Yet it couldn't be done without our dedicated team, partners and supporters, amazing volunteers and most importantly, those that join in our activities to make this all worthwhile.
